Feeding Our People

November 3, 2009

IN 2010,  A DIOCESAN-WIDE RESPONSE TO HUNGER

Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida is determined to respond to the growing numbers of hungry people throughout our Diocese.

Offering funding and program support, EC’s Feeding our People2010 Diocesan-wide initiative will seek to increase funding for its feeding program partners, offer congregations resources and assistance in developing and implementing feeding and feeding-related ministries [such as becoming a Food Stamps application site, a free summer children’s lunch site, organizing food drives], provide ‘best practices’ for food pantry and soup kitchen operations, and encourage collaborative ministry efforts through ‘round-table’ gatherings of  feeding ministry leaders.

You can support this initiative and help thousands be fed. Visit www.ecsefl.org for more information, and to offer a financial gift to support our work.

Blessings,

Donna
